Methodology
The model starts with the public 68,000+ first-day reservation count and estimates how front-loaded the reveal-day curve was. For the first Performance Launch Package, it filters for buyers ahead who may actually take that build; for Premium, Standard, or later hardware choices, it switches into a separate trim bucket before applying availability timing.

Invites, first deliveries, and demo drives begin June 9, 2026. Rivian names timestamp, delivery location, R1 ownership, lease timing, and random early batches as relevant factors. Rivian also says areas around Service + Demo Centers generally receive earlier invitations during the early ramp.
